[exhibition poster, social media]

Rêver en couleurs [Dreaming in color] is a black and white film photography exhibition presented by Le Trou Noir, a community darkroom and collective in Montreal.

The poster campaign I designed features an analog image of a carnival that invites in the play and imaginative spirit of the exhibition’s title, contrasting with the monochromatic works on display.

In keeping with the collective’s ethos of community accessibility, the posters were distributed in public spaces throughout the city, including storefronts and neighborhood walls, reinforcing the exhibition’s connection to its local audience.

Exhibited at Rêver en couleurs, Forgetting the ground is a series of 5 medium-format photographs taken during a walk in deep snow. Through soft focus and overexposure, the photographs evoke impermanence by capturing winter, its cold light and softened edges, where reality begins to blur and slip away.
